THE BRAND NEW MINI GP3 AND MANHART

我們已經完全拆解了這台車的避震系統,並利用CTW測試儀測試MINI在這套系統上做了什麼新的設置。
依照這些數據我們為MINI開發了新的短彈簧。AST 彈簧高度略低於 OEM。我們這樣做的原因非常明顯,
一個街頭駕駛的人絕對會認為OEM避震系統太硬,因此我們將避震系統設計得更柔和,更符合駕駛,
因此在抓地力的限制下駕駛時,也不那麼棘手。少一些超車,多一些平衡。

在我們設置您的裝置之前,我們需要知道:

汽車的目標。(賽道,街道,或兩者)
其他的避震系統,如搖擺桿。
車上有什麼特性輪胎?
有什麼其他的改裝零件。
駕駛人的開車特性?

我們對應MINI JCW GP3的避震系統以下有幾種選擇:

AST短彈簧
5100直上OEM上座
5100,前上座(外傾角)和後上座
5200,上座和氣瓶
5300,上座和氣瓶

 

We have totally stripped the suspension of the car and tested everything on our CTW testing dyno's and spring testers to find out what MINI did with this new setup.

With that data we have developed new lowering springs for the car.

The AST suspension spring rates are a little lower than the OEM ones.

The reason why we did this is very obvious, a street driving person will absolutely think that the OEM suspension is too hard, therefor we made them softer for a more compliant drive.

But also less tricky when driving on the limits of the grip. Less oversteer, more balance in the car.

Before we build your set, we need to know:

  • Goal of the car. (track, street, both)
  • Other suspension mods like sway-bars.
  • What sticky tires are on the car.
  • Any more aero mods.
  • What kind of driver is the driver.

We have a couple options for our suspension for the MINI JCW GP3:

  • AST suspension lowering springs
  • 5100 to be mounted to the OEM top mounts
  • 5100 with top mounts front(camber) and rear
  • 5200 complete with top mounts and reservoirs
  • 5300 complete with top mounts and reservoirs
